CLAREMONT HILLS RESIDENCE

This extensive remodel included an addition, kitchen remodel, structural remediation and interior design work throughout various parts of the house. I worked closely with the home owner to achieve a colorful eclectic look and a feel that meshed joyfully with this unique Santa Barbara Mediterranean home.The kitchen had been a small white slab door kitchen with stairs to the lower floor intruding into the kitchen space and awkward access to the beautiful 180 degree bay view. The architect brilliantly moved the stairs to the center of the house creating both a more gracious and easier access to the lower floor, and for the kitchen and breakfast area (addition) to become a unique & fun kitchen/living space for this young family.
